Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using AgriNexus, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this platform.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age to use AgriNexus. By using the platform, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Modifications
AgriNexus reserves the right to revise these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or a prominent notice within the platform. Continued use of AgriNexus after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
Account Responsibilities
Account Creation
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep this information up to date.
Account Security
You must immediately notify AgriNexus of any unauthorised use of your account or any other security breach. AgriNexus will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your account credentials.
Team Members & Access
If you grant access to team members or employees, you remain responsible for their use of the platform. Ensure all users in your account comply with these Terms of Service.
Subscriptions & Billing
Subscription Plans
AgriNexus offers multiple subscription tiers: Free, Starter, Growth, and Enterprise. Features and limits vary by plan. You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time through your account settings.
Billing & Payment
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance. Payments are processed securely through PayFast. You authorise AgriNexus to charge your payment method on the billing cycle you selected.
Refunds
AgriNexus offers a 14-day money-back guarantee on first-time paid subscriptions. After this period, subscription fees are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-cycle, your access will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
Free Trial
New accounts on eligible plans may receive a free trial period. At the end of the trial, your account will either downgrade to the Free plan or be charged for the selected paid plan, depending on your selection.
Acceptable Use
Permitted Use
AgriNexus is licensed for legitimate agricultural management purposes. You may use the platform to manage your farm operations, list products on the marketplace, interact with the community, and access all features included in your plan.
Prohibited Activities
You may not: (a) use AgriNexus for any unlawful purpose; (b) attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform; (c) upload malicious code or viruses; (d) scrape or harvest data without permission; (e) impersonate any person or entity; (f) use the platform to send spam or unsolicited communications.
Marketplace Conduct
Sellers on the AgriNexus Marketplace must list only genuine agricultural products they have the right to sell. Fraudulent listings, misrepresentation of products, or failure to fulfil confirmed orders may result in account suspension.
Intellectual Property
AgriNexus Ownership
The AgriNexus platform, including all software, design, content, logos, and trademarks, is the exclusive property of AgriNexus (Pty) Ltd and is protected by South African and international intellectual property laws.
Your Data Ownership
You retain full ownership of all data you input into AgriNexus — including crop records, livestock data, financial records, and farm information. AgriNexus is granted a limited licence to process this data solely to provide the service to you.
User Content
By posting content to the AgriNexus Blog or Forum, you grant AgriNexus a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display and distribute that content within the platform. You remain responsible for ensuring your content does not infringe third-party rights.
Termination
Termination by You
You may terminate your AgriNexus account at any time by contacting support@agrinexus.co.za or through your account settings. Upon termination, you may export your farm data within 30 days before it is permanently deleted.
Termination by AgriNexus
AgriNexus reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these Terms of Service, engage in fraudulent activity, or your account poses a security risk to the platform or other users.
Effect of Termination
Upon termination, your right to access AgriNexus ceases immediately. We will retain your data for 30 days after termination to allow you to request an export. After this period, your data will be permanently and irreversibly deleted.
